The Blog Ness Monster: Coming up for air from the murky depths of parenthood...

Have fallen madly in love...
...with a house. We've made an offer and it's been accepted! We're working on all the paperwork now and hope to own it by the end of March! Am still in shock.
We moved into our home last March and it's a dream come true for me. Hubby leaves for Basel today to see what new assignment he may get. Will it be in Indy or Basel? Lisa in Indy
It all depends on an offer. "make me an offer we can't refuse" wink.
Fortunately with this company, a transfer to Europe would include handling the selling of our house, so that's a relief. It would be torture to lose this place because I LOVE this house. Every room has oak trim and the first floor has oak floors, bookshelves and crown molding. I'll let you know whether we stay or we go. Lisa in Indy
Thanks ! My husband probably won't tell me much until he returns on Saturday night. I'm so happy that he's found a company that appreciates his knowledge, experience and dedication. He's only worked for them for 18 months so this is really great for him. I hope your move goes well. It looks like a lovely place to make your home. Good Luck! Lisa in Indy

Oh no, Lisa, that sounds totally nervewracking! What will you do with your house if he gets offered something in Basel? Can you rent it out?

Oh, how exciting! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you, although it sounds like either decision might be really good for you guys! Good luck!
Nice house!

I'm happy for you! So you must be staying in Germany awhile. Bet you're glad about that!
Definitely! :-) It's exactly what I've been hoping for!
