Am still fighting this virus and am living in perpetual power-save mode. My head is killing me! The pain fills my head and yet it is elusive. Even when I'm being very still and mindful I can't pinpoint exactly where it is.
The other night I felt like I was in the middle of a neurological storm, with tingling and random pain all over my body. Don't know what this virus is, but it's a doozy!
My house is caught up in the momentum of ever-increasing entropy. The laundry baskets are full, the floors are muddy and the garbage cans runneth over.
And I think I'm going to go shuffle over to the couch and rest a while...

This sounds awful -- is it the flu that I've been hearing about? Rest as much as you need. Laundry never ends; this will pass. Hope you are feeling better soon!
Oooh, you poor thing, I know exactly what you mean by the "full body" thing and can totally sympathize. Just let everything go until you feel better. It does eventually go away.
wow you are amazing though...in such a condition I'd never have the energy to search for a picture matching my post!
I really hope this is over soon
Hope recovery comes quickly! Rest your body as much as you can with other sick ones around...
Betsy, that sounds like the Noro-virus that's been going around here. My whole family had it and it did the same thing to my boy that it did to yours. In the space of three days he looked like a skeleton with skin on it and spent some time in the hospital.
The good thing is it only lasts for up to four days, tops, says my doctors. The bad news is it hangs around in the intestines causing problems for a couple weeks after that, during which you can pass it along to just about everyone you come in contact with, and it's crazy contagious. Emergency room doctor told me it only takes 3-15 particles to do the job.
Oh yes, and brace yourself for the next version of Spanish flu that's on its way up from Austria.
I wish you all good health again very soon, and to stay healthy!
Lisa
Thanks so much for the well-wishes, everyone! I think we're finally out of the woods-- not totally fit yet, but we're getting there!
It looks like we've passed the virus on to the neighbors. Which wasn't exactly what I had in mind when I was praying to get rid of it!
Lisa: I'm so sorry to hear that your son got hit so hard! Hope he's feeling better again very soon!
