There were only two things that prevented me from stringing myself up with my shoelaces last week. First of all, we have no rafters. Secondly, my parents in law came down for a much needed diversion.
We took a quick jaunt out to Schloss Lichtenstein and just the very act of having to be civil for 4 days has actually improved my mood. somewhat.
Tomorrow M will be traveling to Prague on business and I have decided to take the kids and go with him. I doubt we will be able to spend any time with him, but I'm thinking it will do us all some good to get out and get some fresh air and soak up some culture. More news hopefully upon my return...

My oldest son is in Prague. Look for a tall American, no doubt lugging a barrel of beer behind him!
oh Prague is cool. have fun!
and if the weather is letting you down toom uch, put on Shantel (which I got to know from you, via Jenn!) and close your eyes and you can imagine being at a Turkish beach or something with a coctail bar nearby and a crappy store full of fake stuff around the corner ;)
Enjoy! I loved Prague when I was there umpteen thousand years ago. ;-)
Nice pics. Hope you have an enjoyable trip.
Great idea! Can I come, too?
I know, can you believe it, we've had snow here near Heidelberg for five days straight! Quite a contrast with the blooming daffodils and honeysuckle.
Maybe Prague will be warmer?
Yeah, the weather had been nuts lately. We haven't had it too bad, but it changes from one minute to the next.
Prague will be a nice change - are you going to visit Julia and her family?
