School is out; let the summer begin!
The terrorist ended up getting expelled after the umbrella incident. It was kind of an empty gesture since he only missed the last three days of school, but I was just happy that at last someone had finally taken action!
We will be leaving on Friday for a month-long vacation, so I am knee-deep in camping gear and laundry. I have never been so happy to be packing up our stuff-- normally I hate it, but after the last couple of months I'm so ready for a break!
Am giddy with excitement and am playing Coldplay's new album at full blast. It's amazing!
I'll be in Holland next week and will have an Internet connection so you're not rid of me yet!
Happy summer, everyone!

oh no...the huge camper is going to be on the move ;-)
Yep, you got it! AAAAAANNNNNDDDDD, we'll be in the Ardennes for a week as well, so I'm thinking we should make a special trip up to Leuven. Early in the morning when you're on your way to work. (Have I mentioned that we aren't supposed to drive over 80?!) So this time instead of sticking up your middle finger when you finally get to pass us you should be sure to wave... ;-)
No seriously...would you come to Leuven?
Oh, you definitely deserve a good break. A month? Crap, now I'm jealous. Europeans sure know how to take a vacation don't they? Wish we could.
I'm happy to hear the bully got expelled. I just wished he'd have to spend a few weeks at a boot camp this summer too. But, if his parents are beating the shit out of him, that might be a vacation for him too.
Anyway, have a great trip! I hope the weather is divine.
Lurking Lisa.
Hi Lisa, happy summer!
Goofball: I would love to-- it would be really nice to meet up with you at some point. But it doesn't look like that's a possibility during this trip. I'll be catching a ride from NL down to the Ardennes in the back seat of M's parents' car and the week will be dedicated to family. Maybe at some point, though when I'm in NL for a longer amt of time I could come down and visit you and a few friends back in Brussels! (Chui Hsia, you've been warned!)
Wonderful! Enjoy your vacation!
I hope you and yours have a wonderful time, Betsy! Enjoy!!!
Enjoy your break! (And talking the "hairball language," as my friend calls Dutch...)
Uh, next time you are in the neighborhood (I mean, my country) I hope I get to see you too!!
